Fantasy Filmfest 2016

30. Fantasy FilmFest.

Auch 2016 wurde das Festival in 7 Städten gezeigt, wobei es über einen Zeitraum von je 11 Tagen lief, bzw. 12 Tage in Berlin. Das Festival begann am 17. August in Berlin und endete am 18. September in Hamburg.

Zum ersten Mal ist im Kurzfilmprogramm "Get Shory" ein Preisgeld von 2000€ für den besten Beitrag ausgeschrieben, der durch die Zuschauer vergeben wird. Auch für den etablierten "Fresh Blood Award" gab es erstmals ein Preisgeld, hier in Höhe von 5000€.
